This review is from: Baker's Secret 116424001 Basics Nonstick 24-Cup Mini Muffin Pan (Kitchen) These pans are decent weight and bake fine but they are deeper than other standard mini muffin pans. Because of this the bottoms are narrower and standard mini muffin papers don't go all the way in to rest on the bottoms. This causes the cakes to come out kind of squashed looking with not quite flat bottoms. If you don't use paper liners, I suppose these pans will work fine for you. If you do, I recommend trying the "Wilton Recipe Right 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan" for just about a dollar more, it has the same diameter at the top of the cups but is not quite as deep. So I bought this 24-cup pan and I really like it. The nonstick is great; the muffin pop out of the tin easily when they're done and clean up is easy too. Really, I paid almost the same for the smaller pan, but this one is much better. My husband likes to bake and says he can tell the difference too. They're super cute and my soon-to-be 5-year-old can't wait to eat his Cars cupcakes at his birthday party. Oh, and avoid having a DUH! moment like I did. Use white or yellow cake in these, not chocolate. You can't see the design with the dark cake, which rather defeats the purpose! Luckily I only wasted a dozen.
